I know this isn't a competition but I've just noticed that both the Book Club and this Rectory (which started at the same time - i.e. last Saturday) have seven topics and 79 posts on them.
Is there any significance in this?

Possibly, Michael, depending on the books ...
Now you have 80 posts!

Possibly, Michael, depending on the books ... Now you have 80 posts! And, I suppose it depends also on the helpfulness of various tog's spiritual observations. As they say in church - just below the No-Smoking notice, 'All are Welcome'

Thanks for those kind words Sarah. You've cheered me up. Surely most of us only want to be able to bring a little light and joy into this dark world.

I, too, would like to say how much I enjoy this board. It's nice to read other people's interests in and experiences with religion in all it's many forms.
At least sensible, adult discussions can be started and continued in the same manner. Good luck with the continuation of it. Long may it run.
Love, light and peace to you all.
