Ahhhh, I remember Garibaldi, that's old Dai Gestive-Biscuit's lad isn't it? Yes, but your spelling is wrong.... and gender...
Di was his mum - Rich T was his dad
Isn't he related to Ginger Crunch?

I'm really looking forward to the Bash on the Bus.
It's being held on the weekend that my niece or nephew will hopefully be making an appearance, so I was planning on being back in the UK then. The Hippy is looking to buy a camper van, so we don't need to book into a hotel, and then we can make our way up to Ullapool at our leisure and possibly either visit places like York that he would really like to see, or take our time heading back 'down South'. We'd like also to take the train from Belgium through to London, if we can get the camper van on it - then probably get the ferry from Hull to Rotterdam to go home.
Anyway, we get cut price ferry travel due to his military veteran status, which makes travel pretty cheap, apart from the fuel. It also means that we just can't justify the cost of the Convention, and in any case it would eat into the time we would have with my family, and I'm afraid family comes first.
So, the Bus Bash is a really convenient event for us to attend. It also means that we can catch up with folk who won't be at the Convention for other reasons that we really get along well with, but who can make it the Bus Bash.
I think it's really great that there's so much interest in it, especially being so close to the Convention weekend.

I dunno about the van - but the Avensis is going in for a respray while he's in Florida next month visiting his family. I may have to telephone the body shop and have words!

Looking forward to meeting AH and seeing you again, Tigs..and all our other TOGgy pals.
Yep, we're all thrilled with the number of people who have decided they'd like to join us. We'd have looked pretty darned silly on the bus on our own! ;D
