I have just cooked some, I hadn't got a clue how to do it, a recipe search was useless, so I fried it in butter and lemon juice. It was very nice, quite strong in flavour and had lots of fiddly bones. Has anyone any ideas for using/cooking Dace?

The only thing I could find was a recipe for grilled dace or trout, so I suppose you could do anything with it you'd do with trout
Mind you I thought it was a flat fish, along the lines of plaice or flounder!

xxxNope - The Plaice(sic) for this little beauty is in fresh water.
