I shall be seeing the sailing lady soon - would anyone like to come and play in little boats, either solo or in pairs? If you want to know what the boats and place are like, speak to Windy and Donnyboy. They came last time. If there's enough of us, we may be able to keep the base open a little longer for a barby. Cost etc will be broadcast once I know how many are interested :-)

It will be a weekend (either saturday or sunday - or both if enough interest) from March onwards. The water would be a little chilly any earlier. Just wanted to see if there was enough interest before I booked. Dates can be sorted once I know how many.

PLAYTIME HAS BEEN BOOKED FOR SATURDAY 4TH JULY 2009 BETWEEN 09:45 AND 16:00'ish. cost: £14 adults, £11 youths (in FTE). There is a 'tuck shop' that has hot drinks and snacks etc, which is extra, or you may want to bring a packed lunch. We have been given the ok for a barby if we want. There will be a group of cubs on site building and racing rafts, but the lagoon is huge so we shouldn't run into each other ( ). It also gives us the chance to have a go at building rafts too. Either way, expect to get wet Directions are posted up there ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Please let me know who is coming so I can give Marion numbers. Any queries, you know where I am ;D ;D ;D

Got a good crowd showing interest.......
For anyone else interested in coming but aren't sure what it'll be like, pm me for a natter.
One thing the base does insist on is that anyone going on the water must be able to swim 50m in light clothes and keep afloat for 5 mins. Again, if you're not sure, I can meet with anyone to do a swim assessment (I'm a qualified Swimming Teacher - among other things)
It's looking to be a good day ;D

Ok folks, can anyone interested in coming please pm me an email address so that I can forward the forms needed for the day. One form will have a couple of questions regarding medical conditions. I propose to seal these forms in an envelope and return them to you at the end of the day to do with what you wish. This form is needed incase we need to call in medical help. Please email the forms back to me before the day, as I have to complete some paperwork too Payment can be made on the day. There are still spaces for those who wanna come ;D ;D ;D

thought I'd drag this to the top again only 4 more sleeps before we can play with the boats. There are still spaces for anyone wanting to join us. To those who are coming, please don't forget your sun cream and a hat - a baseball cap will do - as well as plenty of clothes in case you get wet. If you wear glasses or are planning on wearing sunglasses, you will need something to tie them on with (string usually works) phone is on if you have any queries. btw, you will need to shower before you go home
