It's possible that I can make it, I'll have to check with my son to see that he doesn't book a table at some delicious restaurant * she said hopefully*.
Seriously, I'll check with the Boss and see if it's possible, Sat or Sunday is probably going to be ok for us.

It sounds good. I will be arriving in the Big City at about 2:00 pm on the Friday - get my bearings etc. Friday Evening is a possiblity. Saturday I will busy all day (I'm at the John Thaw Memorial Bench event etc). Sunday - I'm free most of the day until about 5:00 pm. Let me know what you think ?.

Sunday it is then. I have never been to the Covent Garden area before, so do you have any suggestions for a venue/time ? . I was thinking at about midday at a suggested drinking hole !!.

Last time I was there we were in a pub with a veranda overlooking some street entertainers but in true Toggy style I can't remember what it was called!
I'll ask Old Bean.

Ooh that rings a bell! I've lived in Twickenham for 30 years this year and had never been to CG before last year! They had a tightrope walker fellow with his rope between 2 columns in the building opposite. Great fun.
