The May Day bank holiday weekend is the third annual Potton Beer Festival at the Rising Sun SG19 2PA, running from Friday evening through to Monday evening. The last two years, we have had folks who want to sample the brews stay over at Whitby Towers, and we have frequented the pub throughout the weekend, and thrown in the odd barbecue too. We have not been at the pub on the Sunday afternoon as we usually go to the Spring Airshow at Old Warden (Shuttleworth Collection). This year, we can't be quite as flexible with our 'open house' due to ANOTHER EVENT and therefore we can't guarantee quite what the Saturday evening has in store for us yet, but if anyone would like to join us at the airshow or the Rising Sun during the rest of the weekend, please let us know. We would like to catch up with as many of you as possible as it's been such a long time.

Several people have expressed an interest in attending the airshow, so perhaps the 'official' bash should be on Sunday late afternoon/evening after the flying.
The pub does regular pub food all day long and will probably have a large BBQ or hog roast on the go for the festival.
