wow how nice to see the droplets of water on the white leaves the yellow ones look like my overgown hedge thingy in the front garden yeah I know I should trim it (sorry neighbours), but it makes it easy to point out my house to the taxie man on friday when I do my shopping xx

The yellow thingy is Forsythia - one of the few plants I can actually name! They can get very easily overgrown, yes. Ours are pruned very hard every autumn and romp back every spring.

Funnily enough I was outside the other night and thought it was time I tried out my happy snappy camera and the flash... this was so called idiot mode - think I need to find how to make a sharper focus!

What a good idea to take the photies at night, Lily. I like the mood of them, esp the last one. Nice contrast with the darker sky - usually you just see flower piccies taken in sunlight.

I think they are cracking photos. Only suggestion I would make is to place a little piece of tissue over the flash to diffuse it slightly.

I took these on an old Zenit 12XP with a defunct light meter the other week on Fuji 400 at f2 As you can see, I forgot to wipe the lens and have some Bokeh stuck on it!
