I recently went to Holland to visit my son and took advantage to see Keukenhof Park where they display the bulbs. It was a bit late in the season and some of the bulbs were going over - there was still a lot to see. I have put a couple on here plus a link to a slideshow, should you wish to look further. Stunning pictures M, did they smell? I mean the flowers, not the pictures. It just smelt fresh most of the time, except around the Hiacynths, the smell of which was beautiful.

I went to the Keukenhof about two years ago for my birthday. It's only about an hour from here but it took 16 years of living in the Netherlands to actually get me there. It is beautiful, really beautiful.

I went to the Keukenhof about two years ago for my birthday. It's only about an hour from here but it took 16 years of living in the Netherlands to actually get me there. It is beautiful, really beautiful. My son lives in Hoofddorp which is only 20 minutes away. We got there at 2pm, left at 7pm, and felt we hadn't anything like all of it. I shall hopefully go again, only this time I will go earlier as some of the flowers had gone over and they were starting t deadhead them - but it was still magnificent.
