Some exquisite piccies mate, made me feel really envious and 'homesick' at the same time..well done.
I'd love some techy details but there are so many...did you use a tripod in any?

I didn't use any dedicated support on any of the Liverpool pics - most were freehand, I'll use anything that happens to be about (wall/fence post etc) if I can but otherwise it's a case of holding on and thinking of England!
I got it wrong really, I elected to take my tripod which proved too difficult to use in the centre, I should have used my monopod but made the decision to leave it at home. Oh well.
Most night shots were between 0.3" and 1.5" exposures. Some of the day ones above were done from moving vehicles, but as it was a good day light wise I used very fast exposures. Lenses used were a combination of a 10-17mm fish-eye, 18-55mm zoom and a 50-200mm zoom. The 170-500mm stayed in the flat for most of the weekend.
Thanks for the comments.

As Phil said great photos.
Stereotypes are a bugbear as they can stop us enjoying some many things and places.

Great photos. I had a look at the others on the flickr site which I enjoyed going through. You have a good eye.
