Fabulous place, well worth a visit.
I expected to be there a couple of hours. I spent nearly 6 there.
The Armed Forces Memorial is stunning."Shot at Dawn" was thought provokingThe SANDS Garden was such a bag of emotions I'll let you decide.

You really must visit it Kels - it's stunning.
AND it needn't cost you more than your fuel to get there and two quid to park your car because there is no entrance fee!!!!!
I did bung some dosh in an envelope when I was there and filled in the thingy so they got gift aid but the chap who did the talk after the (daily) 2 minute silence service in the chapel said the average donation from visitors is 50p! (I confess I was quite shocked, but I guess some people visit lots of times and don't always put something in the bucket?)

Murph - If you don't want to answer then don't but please don't use sarcasm. Yes I've could have Googled but I didn't, instead I asked a civil question which I believe did not deserve the reply I got
