I had a very nice meal at the Bell tonight. Prawn cocktail followed by a humungous mixed grill and then cheesecake and coffee. The peopel who run the pub are very happy to have TOGs descending (I have a copy of the current lunch and evening menus if anyone wants a squiz). I will need some more firm numbers nearer the time. So remember folks, 'tis Saturday October 31st at the Bell Inn, Tillington. The pub's website is www.bellinntillington.co.ukI will try and find some B&Bs for peeps, plus the Hereford Travelodge is a 10-15 minute drive from the pub. Well I'm officially'in' for this un! Got the time booked off all right n proper. *waits for the teachers an pedants to spontaneously combuyst over me grammer an punctuation ;D

Ah Now, I may have a problem, albeit a lovely one. When I saw that the bash was on 31 October my mind said 31 September (yes I KNOW there are only 30 days in September, it is my overworked mind that did not realise that) and I have a new grandbaby due on 5 November, up in Cheshire. It may be that I do not get to the bash after all, I may be cooing and nappy changing... babies come when they feel like it don't they? Not sure what to do about a hotel now, I will have a little think and come back to ye. I so want to come.

If you book into Travelodge/Premier Inn type hotels you can cancel without being charged upto midday on the day in question. (and Hereford can be en route to Cheshire) ;D

With 4 weeks to go we currently have a total of 14 people (I think) Plenty of time for peeps to cry off/pop off/nod off I'll be surprised if you don't find yourself alone in a room of SAS rejects or bull semen collectors (probably the same people)
