By popular(?) request, we present a B&W image... Now here's the odd bit - when I look at the orignal RAW file, it looks a little dull and lifeless, however, looking at it as a *.jpg it looks better, in as much as it's more punchy, if that makes sense? I don't know why or how, as it shouldn't be the case..... The jpg image will have been processed by the camera default settings (the scenery,portrait etc options). Raw files need to be processed in your pc using either the software that came with your camera or photo imaging software such as photoshop, Paint shop pro etc. The difference lies in the way the data is stored & handled. For a more serious attitude many people are moving to raw, but honestly, most people will get the most working with the jpg/tif files the camera produces.

It almost looks like a negative in black and white. Lovely! It looks to have more depth in colour, somehow.
