A drama on BBC Three which began its second series last night.
I enjoy it, but it is a little unconventional.
It features the lives of three twenty-somethings living together in a house in Bristol, Annie, George and Mitchell.
Annie is a ghost, who was murdered by her fiancé - she suffers from depression and insecurity
George is a werewolf - he hates his condition and what it makes him do
Mitchell is a vampire who has given up blood
There is bad language and there are scenes of a sexual nature, but I feel the exploration of their characters is very good indeed

T5 likes this, and watched it from about halfway through the first series. I didn't like it because of the bad language and content, but each to his own , and it must have been popular to get another series produced.
I wasn't surprised to see a werewolf/vampire type programme appear on the Beeb as there seems to be so many other films/books etc. in the same genre at the moment.

Oh lordy, Mitchell... *swoons* This is brilliant, I'm hoping the second series will be as good as the first. I have to watch the repeat in the week as it's not the PMB's bag. Plus, I can salivate over Mitchell all by myself then!

To be fair to the Beeb, it's based on a pilot that aired before Twilight and True Blood really took off. And it's MUCH better. It's almost a shame that George had to kill Herrick at the end of series one, because despite being a total bumhole, he was a great character. That's the strength, I think - even the baddies are good.

Herrick was brilliant wasn't he? I've seen him play very effeminate roles in other films, so it was good to see him play something like this... he really made you hate him didn't he?
This just goes to show that us Brits can do this sort of stuff really well too.
