I have owned a slow cooker for sometime and I have now got round to using it. It is a 1.5 litre one.
I have made two or three hot pots so far. I was wondering if there any more recipes I could try out ?.

I have a low and high setting on mine which means a great pot of mince and dumplings. Cook the mince on low till tender etc (onions, herbs whatever to your liking) bang up to high, pop in the dumplings and finish off under hot grill or in oven if you like the dumplings crispy on the top.

Buy stewing steak, (best in big pieces). Chop an onion into rings and fry until soft, pop the steak into the pan to quickly sear both sides. Melt some oxos in boiling water and then put the whole caboosh into your cooker and leave on low for the day. Thicken the gravy with a bit of cornflour if you wish. Cook whatever veg you want with it and serve! Enjoy the tastiest tenderest 'braised' steak ever! Mmmmmm!
