Hello one and all!
Played a few holes at my club today (oooh, get me!)
I was just wondering if there were any TOGs out there who might fancy meeting for a weekend with a day's (or maybe more) golf - with maybe a spot of fundraising.
All just the germ of an idea today, but if I get an idea of the kind of numbers interested I could approach the club (it has an adjacent hotel) to see if, as it has a fundraising aim, we can get special offers on rooms and golf.
The Pudsey Challenge? Anyway, do let me know if you are interested.
My round today? 9 holes - 60 shots

For non-golfy TOGs who would be interested in coming but not necessarily playing, the area (Forest of Dean) has quite a few attractions, which I will put links to here if you want

*looks for like button*
I do not golf but do enjoy a good countryside walk and good TOGgy company. I will keep an eye on this bash/thread/fundraiser idea with interest.

I wouldn't attempt to play (I hate those tricky Par 3s you can't get down in 27) but will volunteer to coordinate & collate the scores if you like.

He's a man - what else would we expect? There are scrubbers available at most tees at the golf club. I would've thought he'd make use of their facilities.
